Submissions

"The poem to be spoken is no acting at all"

Submissions are welcome any time of year except December. Please send 5-6 poems. If the editor is interested in your work, you may be asked to submit more. Simultaneous submissions are not permissible. It is not necessary to query if sending a longer work or grouping of poems.

If you want the work to be returned, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE). If you do not want the work returned, please indicate that it is not necessary to return the work. However, you should still include a SASE for a response.

Please make sure that your name and address are on all submissions and that at least your name is on every page. An email submission will not be accepted unless the name, address and phone number of the poet is included. The subject line should include the word "SUBMISSION" and the name of the poet.

10x3 plus is slow to respond to submissions. Please inquire if you do not hear in what you consider a reasonable time.

10x3 plus takes pride in publishing poets for the first time or poets from overseas who have not published in the United States. Work by published and non-published poets is judged with equal bias.

It is strongly suggested that you read the magazine before submitting or at least perform an Internet search for the previous contributors and read some of their online-published poetry.

Artwork used in the magazine is by invitation only.

Readers and contributing poets will also want to visit the 10x3 plus...Beginner's Mind blog to read updates on the journal and additional poems. Poets are invited to submit previously-published poems for properly credited reprint on the blog site. Submit your best work and let it be read again and again.
